The Fragments Together

The Christmas story has been told for many centuries and through the representation of the story the design of the installation was to exemplify the ability for the story and the season to bring different people together. The fragmented design was inspired by shattered glass and the Gothic stain glass artworks and this creates the symbolism of how humanity is fragmented in differences but the one thing that connects us is love. This love is shown through the birth of Jesus Christ who by his grace and sacrifice we are saved from the grasps of our sins. The installation is designed to be stored for future re-installation for the use of the Church. The artwork was to accompany the christmas festival Family Fun Day that Camberwell Baptist Church held.

  1. One of the most amazing pieces of art work I’ve ever seen. Truly incredible. Told the story of our saviour so delicately and beautifully. Well done to the artist.
